John 3:16 "God So Loved"
1. Hi friends!
Welcome to Sunday School.
Today's title is "God So Loved."
We are going to learn “The” Bible verse today.
It’s from John 3:16.

Do you remember the story of creation?
God so loved the world that He created a beautiful world.

And He made us with His hands,
in His image.
4.
Look at your friends.
We have joy, just like God.
We have love, just like God.
We also have justice, just like God.
And we have holiness, compassion, and faithfulness, just like God.
Look at your mom and dad.
We can see something special in them, just like God.

However,
we’ve got stains in our hearts.
Satan always tries to interrupt our relationship with God.
When we disobey God, when we follow ourselves instead of God,
when we don’t love others and love only ourselves,
when we use bad words and think bad thoughts,
or when we make ugly decisions,
these are sins.

But, you know, God is holy and pure, like the color white.
So He can’t be with our sins.

We can’t stay connected to God anymore.
We can’t be united with Him.
8.
We can’t hold God’s hand.
We can’t be under His grace.
9.
When you make a mistake in your notebook, you can just erase it.
When your clothes get dirty,
you can just wash them.
When your room becomes very messy,
you can clean it up.

But what can we do when our hearts become dirty, messy, and broken?
When we lose our connection with God,
how can we wash and clean our hearts?

The verse from John 3:16 gives us the answer.
Let’s read the verse together:
For God so loved the world
that He gave His one and only Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish
but have eternal life. Amen.

The cross of Jesus cleanses our sins.
Jesus is the connection between God and you.
We believe He is our Savior.

Let's pray:
Heavenly God,
We know You love us so much.
You sent Jesus as our Savior.
We believe this.
We are forgiven by Jesus.
We believe Jesus is our Savior.
All this we pray in Jesus’ name,
Amen.
