1.

Hi, Friends.
Welcome to Sunday School.
Today's title is "Never Be Thirsty."

2.
One day, there was a cute little squirrel.
The squirrel was walking along and found an empty jar. It was a really cool-looking jar!

3.
What should the squirrel do with this jar?
The squirrel felt happy.
"I could fill it with water and use it as a water bottle.
Or I could use it to store my favorite acorns.
Or maybe I could collect some sticks to use when I build a house someday."

4.
The squirrel decided to put water in the jar first.
Since it's always hot here in Texas, we have to drink a lot of water. Everything should be fine, right?

5.
But one day, the squirrel looked inside the jar and was shocked! There was no water left—it was an empty jar!
"What happened?"

6.
The next day, the squirrel gathered all its precious acorns and put them in the jar. Surely the acorns wouldn’t disappear, right?
What do you think? Did the acorns disappear too?

7.
Oh no! All the acorns in the jar were gone!

8.
The squirrel then tried putting peanuts in the jar.
Next, it added some long sticks.
Then, it tried putting some green leaves in there.
Did these things stay in the jar?

9.
No... everything disappeared.
Do you know why?
It's because there was a hole at the bottom of the jar.
How disappointing! It made the squirrel feel thirsty all of a sudden.

10.
Actually, our lives are just like that.
We drink water, but after a little while, we get thirsty again.
We eat food, but soon, we feel hungry once more. We can have a lot of fun at the playground, but after we get home, we want to go back again.
Even though we have many toys at home, we always want new ones.
We are always thirsty.
Do we have a hole in our hearts?
We are always thirsty.

11.
In today's message, Jesus says He can make us never be thirsty again.
Let's read today's verse together.

"Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life." Amen.

12.
After hearing this, the squirrel placed its water jar near the stream. And guess what? It became a wonderful water fountain!
Friends, Jesus is the living water.
Let's always keep our hearts with Jesus.

13.
Let's pray together.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for giving us living water.
It satisfies our hearts.
Help us to trust in You and
never be thirsty for anything else.
Fill us with Your love and peace every day.
We prayed in Jesus’ name, Amen.
