- Hello, Friends.
Welcome to Sunday School.
Today's title is "Trust and Obey." - Let's jump into the story.
Do you remember when Jesus turned water into wine?
And how did Jesus heal many sick people?
People were amazed by His miracles.
"Did you see Jesus? He's got amazing power!"
Everyone knew that Jesus had unbelievable power and was a miracle worker.
3.Jesus was on His way to Cana.
A royal official came to meet Him.
He had traveled from Capernaum, riding all day to find Jesus.
Why do you think he was looking for Jesus?
4 The official said to Jesus,
"Jesus, Jesus, please come with me. Come to my house and heal my son."
The royal official's son was very sick. He was close to death.
5. But then Jesus said something surprising.
Let's read today's Bible verse together.
- “Go,” Jesus replied, “your son will live.”
John 4:50 - What? Go back?
- Is that all?
Without Jesus coming with him?
Could the boy really be healed just because Jesus said so?
The royal official found it hard to believe.
Could he really trust Jesus' words and go back home?
6. What would you do, friends?
Would you keep asking Jesus to come with you?
Or would you trust His words and go back home?
- The royal official chose to trust Jesus’ words.
He obeyed and started heading back home.
On the way, he met one of his servants.
The servant said, "Sir! Your son is alive!" - Really? When did this happen?
"Yesterday, around 1 o'clock in the afternoon."
The royal official was amazed.
That was exactly when Jesus said his son would live.
The official realized that Jesus truly is the living God.
He and his whole family believed in Jesus. - Friends,
To believe in someone means to trust what they say.
To love someone means to respect and listen to their words.
When we say we believe in Jesus,
it means we listen carefully to His words and live a life of obedience.
I hope all of you will always listen to Jesus' words and choose to trust and obey Him.
- Let’s pray.
Heavenly Father,
Faith is about trusting and obeying.
We want to trust and obey Jesus.
Please open our hearts and ears.
We pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
